The California Congress of Republicans held their local endorsing convention this weekend and unanimously endorsed Republican candidate Kevin McCarthy for Congress. The California Congress of Republicans is a leading grass-roots political organization committed to the Republican principles of free enterprise and equal opportunity.
“I’m honored to have the endorsement of this organization that works tirelessly to promote the Republican values of accountability, personal responsibility, and free markets,” said McCarthy.
“Kevin McCarthy is a leader that has a record of fighting for lower taxes and government accountability,” said Bonnie Shea, Chair of the Tehachapi Congress of Republicans. “Kevin will be an effective champion for our local communities in Washington D.C.”
The 22nd Congressional District consists of most of Kern and San Luis Obispo Counties, and northeastern Los Angeles County. The district includes the cities of Bakersfield, Taft, Lake Isabella, Ridgecrest, Paso Robles, Atascadero, San Luis Obispo, and Lancaster.
